Training at Microsoft
Monday through Wednesday I was in all day training for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. I learned more about the new capabilities of the .NET 2.0 framework. I know there are a lot of Microsoft jokes, but they have some good ideas. They have some very nice tools and features for building software. I can build more powerful applications quicker when I leverage these tools.I am still a big fan of Linux and open source software. Some of the advantages of Linux are the performance, stability, security, and the biggest advantage is that it is FREE! The main draw back is that it is not as popular so you can’t always find the newest and greatest programs to run on Linux.
