I went snowboarding with Nick today at Afton Alps. In the beginning it was a little wet, because it was just warm enough that the falling snow would melt right when it touched our clothing. And it was chunky snow which made it hard to see, and our snowboards weren’t traveling very fast. After a few hours we had a beer at the chalet. When we got out it had stopped snowing so we could see a lot better, and it cooled down enough that the runs became nice and fast. We got a second wind and ended up snowboarding until 9:30 after getting there at noon. I think Nick and I our bad influences on each other because we did some crazy things that I don’t think we would normally do like jumping fences, going through trees and off cliffs. Amazingly I’m not as nearly as sore as I though I would be after going rock climbing yesterday.

I’m definitely going again this winter so let me know if you want to go.
